Who?
Mari is a pen name for a disabled Native American mom, artist, and writer whose greatest claim to fame was being born the year Star Wars first premiered. (Original Edition, yay!) Ahem…Doctors diagnosed her with Cerebral Palsy at age 4, and told her mother that “she wouldn’t live past 14.” 1980 was a trip, apparently. Society diagnosed her with being “American Indian,” though her First Nations Reserve is in Canada. Now she lives with her family (including her mom) on Arapaho, Suhtai, Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ and Očeti Šakówiŋ lands. You can read more about her here:
When people ask me what my job is, I tell them I scream at the internet all day.

What?
Mari’s Mission
I want to give back a portion of my net income to other North American Indigenous Peoples in good standing with their tribal elders and council, via Direct Assistance (mine are listed here: PayPal Venmo, Patreon, etc.) and federally recognized tribal economic development councils with the goal of promoting Indigenous Nation Land Sovereignty, AKA Indigenous Plurinational Governance.
RANDOM FACT:
I am entirely double jointed in my right hand which makes for a great joke when someone shakes my hand too hard….
